Description
The Gatan Solarus plasma cleaner enables the cleaning of hydrocarbon contaminants on specimens, especially for TEM specimens. It features a port compatible with the JEOL TEM specimen holders so specimens may be cleaned while loaded in the holder. Typical cleaning plasma consist of a mix of argon and oxygen, but hydrogen is also available. The plasma cleaner is programmable with automated functionality after a recipe including the gas plasma mix and cleaning time is loaded.
