Requirements for TAs
- Must be a qualified QNF user and have your own badge access to the lab (part of helping students enter/exit the gowning room & safety)
- Only operate tools if you are a qualified user. Contact staff in advance for any training requirements.
- Read SOPs for all tools (must be most recent version), ensure that you are following correct protocols even if not noted in course traveler
- Complete Safety Expectations for Teaching Assistants in Laboratory Classes at Penn and return to QNF staff
- Review the QNF TA Guide for other important considerations about handling tools specifically for lab courses
