Access to the Quattrone Nanofabrication Facility

  1. Complete the New User Project Form, providing information on the nature of your project.
  2. Attend the QNF Open Forum, where you can discuss your project needs with QNF Staff. The Open Forum is held every Wednesday, 2pm – 4pm, and can be attended in person or via Zoom. Use the following link to book a slot in the Open Forum. Open Forum Link

  4. View the QNF orientation video training and take the orientation quiz, via the following link. Orientation Training Link.
  5. After passing the quiz, contact Feaz Kalamodeen (feazka@seas.upenn.edu) and cc Charlie Veith (charles2veith@gmail.com) and Eric Johnston (ericdj@seas.upenn.edu) with the following information to set up your gowning:
    • Last name
    • First name
    • Height
    • Waist size
    • Hair length (short, bob, long, braided-long)
    • Shoe size (American standard)
    • Do you wear eyeglasses?
  6. Sign up for the QNF Walkthrough by going to iris.nano.upenn.edu → Events (do not login to IRIS).
